Happy April everyone! I hope your spring is off to a great start! It’s been cold here and doesn’t quite feel like spring yet, but I know warmer days are in our future!

I have been struggling to find time to read these past few weeks and it’s really getting me down! I’ve been trying to read 1984 for a little over a week and am still only at page 61😐.

I like the book just fine, but three times now I have been so tired that when I get time to read, I just fall asleep! Hopefully, this doesn’t completely throw off my April reading plans, because I am super excited to get going on my April reading list!

What are you reading this month? Anything you want to recommend to this bookworm?

My April To Be Read List

The Recovery Agent– Janet Evanovich

“Lost something? Gabriela Rose knows how to get it back. As a recovery agent, she’s hired by individuals and companies seeking lost treasures, stolen heirlooms, or missing assets of any kind. She’s reliable, cool under pressure, and well trained in weapons of all types. But Gabriela’s latest job isn’t for some bamboozled billionaire, it’s for her own family, whose home is going to be wiped off the map if they can’t come up with a lot of money fast.

Inspired by an old family legend, Gabriela sets off for the jungles of Peru in pursuit of the Ring of Solomon and the lost treasure of Cortez. But this particular job comes with a huge problem attached to it – Gabriela’s ex-husband, Rafer. It’s Rafer who has the map that possibly points the way to the treasure, and he’s not about to let Gabriela find it without him.”

Drawn Together– Z.A. Maxfield

“Rory’s just a simple southern boy from St. Antoine’s Parish, Louisiana, but he knows what he wants — the girl of his dreams, reclusive and mysterious artist Ran Yamane. He’s loved her since junior high school, and now he has the chance to meet her. He chucks everything and travels 1,500 miles to Anime Expo in Long Beach just so he can tell her. He’s determined that nothing and nobody are going to stand in his way.”

Beard Necessities– Penny Reid

Billy Winston’s family is going to see him happy and in love if it’s the last thing they do.

No one deserves a happily-ever-after quite as much as the second oldest Winston brother and his lady love, Claire McClure (aka Scarlet St. Claire). Cruelty and circumstance tore them apart almost twenty years ago. Secrecy and bitterness kept them separated.

But you know who’s tired of their separation and stubbornness? Everyone. Especially Billy Winston’s family. And now they’re going to do something about it.”

Maybe Someday– Colleen Hoover

“At 22 years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college; working a steady job; in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter; and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her – and she is left trying to decide what to do next.”

Ugly Love– Colleen Hoover

“When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her:

Never ask about the past.

Don’t expect a future.”

The Last Thing He Told Me– Laura Dave

“Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles a note to his beloved wife of one year: Protect her. Despite her confusion and fear, Hannah Hall knows exactly to whom the note refers—Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. Bailey, who lost her mother tragically as a child. Bailey, who wants absolutely nothing to do with her new stepmother.”

I’m sure I will end up reading more than just these books, but these are the ones I want to definitely finish in April. Have you read these? Which was your favorite, and what should I read next month?

I have just loved this series, guys! The Winston brothers and their S.O.’s are all the most amazing people. I love all of them and I am sad that I’m going to be done reading and listening to this family soon. I highly recommend these amazingly cute romances!
