I can’t believe it’s May already. I have been a very busy reader so far this year! As of today, I have read 29 books on my TBR list! I would love to say I’m making a nice dent in that list, however, I also keep adding to the list… I think since joining Bookstagram, my TBR list has doubled! Everyone over on Instagram has such amazing book recommendations and I can’t help but add more and more to my to-be-read pile.

Over the last couple of months, I have read some amazing books and I would love to share some recommendations with you in case you can’t quite decide what to read! I also included their ratings on Amazon in case that helps you decide on something!

Here are some of my favorites so far

(In no particular order. Because I couldn’t pick a favorite if my life depended on it😊)

May Book Recommendations

Colleen Hoover may just be my new favorite author! I have read 3 of her books so far and can’t wait to read more. This story is both heartbreaking and beautiful and I have been recommending it to everyone I know since I finished it.

I listened to this one on Audible. I actually just finished it this morning and I really enjoyed it! This book is a little slow at times but I feel like it was the perfect beginning to what I hope is an even better series. I already bought the second one and can’t wait to start it!

Verity- By Colleen Hoover

⭐⭐⭐⭐.6

This was the first Colleen Hoover book I read and it was all it took to know that I loved Colleen Hoover! This book was not at all what I had expected it to be. It was so much better!

This book was different for me. I have always strictly read romance, but decided to start branching out and trying new genres. This was the first non-romance book I picked and I was so happy I did. This was an amazing story and definitely worth all the hype its getting.

Another out of the ordinary one for me, but I loved this graphic novel. This story is one I think we all should read. It documents the authors fathers story of surviving the Holocaust. It is heartbreaking to read, but I still think you should! I went through so many emotions reading this and can’t wait to read part 2.

This one is my most recent Colleen Hoover read, and just like the others, I loved it. She truly does have a new loyal fan in me, and as long as She keeps writing, I will keep reading!

This story was just as beautiful as her others and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Do you have a favorite book you could recommend for me? Let me know in the comments! And if you pick a book from this list to read, let me know, and let me know if you loved it as much as I did!
