Hey guys! It’s been a bit since I posted last. I’ve been so busy these last few weeks. I just wanted to pop in and give you all a taste of what I plan on reading this September.
Before I get to my list, I thought I would also add a quick life update.
My kids are all back in school now. I have 2 in high school and one in 2nd grade. One of my high-schoolers is also a varsity cheerleader/basketball player/track runner and ALWAYS needs picking up and dropping off somewhere.
I also started working on weekends, so right now I am working 8-10 hours Monday through Friday, and around 8am-9pm on weekends. Yeah… Life is pretty crazy for the moment. Thankfully my weekend job is only until the beginning of October, so my life will be back to normal soon. September is just going to be really tough on my reading habit. But I guess I need to make the money to buy all those books I want right?
Honestly, Septembers reading will probably be pretty lite and mostly devoted to audiobooks as I listen every day in the car. I didn’t get through some of my planned reading in August and I will be even busier this month. Ugh… adulting is no fun!
First up, I have to finish Pink and Country by: Emmanuelle Snow. I’ve been stuck about half way through and just haven’t had the time to get through it. I am however loving it so far and can’t wait to share my review of it with you! SO far it is such a great read, and when I was able to sit and read, I didn’t ever want to put it down!
September Reading List
Sorry there’s so many audiobooks! I hate not being able to finish my monthly TBR lists and audiobooks are the only way I can guarantee some reading time.
As far as physical books, I need to read Where The Crawdads Sing! This is a carryover from last months TBR and I am so excited to read it and also so bummed I didn’t get to yet!
Audiobooks to be listened to
Firestorm
By: Nancy Mehl
The Storyteller
By: Dave Grohl
(I’m super excited for this one. I wanted to read the physical book but a friend told me the audiobook is amazing as Dave is the narrator. She said it’s like listening to him tell all of his stories just for you.)
The President is Missing
By: Bill Clinton and James Patterson
Since I am so busy this month, I am keeping my September reading list a little smaller than normal. Hopefully I can read more than this! But if not, I will be happy to just get through this list.
I hope you all have a fantastic back to school week! I will be back to normal in just a few short weeks I promise!

PS. If you want to connect on Goodreads, click this link here to see all the reading I’ve been up to! I only have a couple of friends on Goodreads, so if you are on there regularly, please come join me!
(If you have a few minutes, would you please take the time to share this post on social media? I am brand new and looking for some help getting my site seen. I would really appreciate the extra boost! Thanks so much in advance!)
