For the first time in a few months I totally crushed my TBR list in November! True, I knew the month would be busy so I didn’t plan to read quite as many books as I normally pick, but I’m still proud of myself! Rich In Your Love by Pippa Grant was my last November read, and it did not disappoint! I’ll get to my review in a second, but first, here’s the back cover book description. If this sounds like something you would like, check it out! You won’t be disappointed either!
Rich In Your Love By Pippa Grant
**I received an ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest and voluntary review. All thoughts and opinions are my own**
A sweet, lighthearted romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Pippa Grant about one social media influencer’s dream of going off the grid and the IRL love she finds along the way.
Secrets always catch up with you. The world knows me as Tavi Lightly, sugar-free social media influencer. But my true purpose lies in secretly restoring a cacao farm in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, to save the farm, I need access to the trust fund that my grandmother has frozen. She’s requiring me to do charity work in Tickled Pink, Wisconsin, and until I meet her ultimatum—no trust fund. So to Tickled Pink I go.
My first grandmother-approved charity project? Helping local reformed bad boy Dylan Wright. He has secrets too, like how he’s hung up on his married best friend. Kick-starting his dating life is as easy as making him famous through association with me.
Not so easy is the fact that we’re falling for each other. He belongs in Tickled Pink, and I belong on my farm. We might share our secrets with one another, but can we really share our lives too?
My Review

Tavi is a super famous influencer and also secretly the owner of a cacao farm in Costa Rica. She is a super healthy, vegan social media star by day, and secretly a cheeseburger-loving, chocolate-making hot mess at night. She is cut off from her trust fund by her grandmother. The trust fund that’s paying the employees on her farm. Then, she’s forced to move to a middle-of-nowhere town in Wisconsin. Why? Because, in my opinion, her grandma is insane. She is being made to help make this town, where her grandmothers favorite movie was filmed, famous again. Her grandma thinks this family project will help “save their souls.”
They move into the old, falling apart high school in town and are trying to return it to its former glory, as well as help the town become a bustling tourist destination again. And for poor Tavi, it’s not going that well. So how does Tavi try and help?
Enter Dylan Wright. Dylan is the local plumber and former teenage nuisance who hasn’t dated in years because he is convinced he is in love with his best friend. His best friend who happens to be married and starting a family. How is Tavi planning on helping him? By using her influencer skills to make him go viral on Tiktok.
She thinks that if Dylan becomes Tiktok famous, not only will people come to the small town of Tickled Pink Wisconsin, but they will be lining up for a date with the local sexy-as-hell plumber.
But what happens when the two get involved?
Rich In Your Love was a really fun and cute read. I give this one 3.5-4 stars. I think the premise of this book is really cute, and it’s written really well. The book also had me laughing out loud at the banter between the 2 MC’s. They have a great chemistry and from the very beginning I wanted them to just get it together already!
This book isn’t a story that will stick with me forever, but it’s still a fantastic read for cozy nights where you just want to get away for a little while.
Tavi’s family dynamic is insane and I felt bad for her because of the people she is forced to be there with. She has a shitty relationship with her siblings. Her father was basically absent for her life (there but not really present) and her mother is self-centered and I would say emotionally abusive. And her grandmother? She’s just nasty. I don’t know how else to put it. She’s just mean.
In the end, everything comes together and works out for everyone. I always love a happy ending and was not at all disappointed in this book. If you’re looking for some profound, life-changing read, this isn’t it. But if you need to curl up and escape life a little, grab this book and pay Tickled Pink Wisconsin a little visit. (PS, I would love to know if this is a real place!)
Have you read Rich In Your Love?
What was your favorite part? My favorite part was the piece that involves Captain America and raw chicken😂. (If you read it, you’ll know!)
